BASMATI RICE

Basmati grows at the foothills of the Himalayas and is considered to be the best type of rice in the world, thus many refer to it as the king of rice. It is narrow, long and highly aromatic, adding a sophisticated flavour of Tibetan culture to dishes. It is great for preparing all kinds of dishes, salads and side dishes. Before cooking, it should be soaked in water or at least rinsed.
